My son is half Jamaican and loves the one Jamaican dish I can make, he tends to like vegetarian dishes most. Can you suggest an easy dish besides red peas and rice I can make?

Hello Faye, A massive thank you. I never learnt to cook carribean food, preferring to leave it to the preserve of my mother – who didn’t really like anyone in the kitchen! Sadly, she passed away in 2012 so I thought that I would now never learn. But then I found you and your wonderful site; and although I have never been to my parents homeland Jamaica I feel as though you have helped me to bring it to England. Bless you xx To-date I have cooked your mutton and chicken curries and beef patties. Yum! Regards Juliet

Being a jamaican I was very delighted when I found this website, and look forward to anything and everything exciting coming from Fay and Angela. I cherish these recipes and thank you for the added info. I am sorry I was not able to acquire Mary’s sweet potato pudding recipe but I am still trying to get it. God has blessed you both and I pray that he will continue to do so as you both bring smiles to us Jamaicans. Is there a way to donate something for Mary. God Bless you both looking to hear from you Sonia
